Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. On ndrmealplan.com we also use "localStorage", a similar technology that keeps data in your browser without automatically sending it to the server on every request.
What we use on this site
Strictly necessary (always active)
These values are stored in localStorage, not traditional cookies, and never leave your device:
- ndr-analytics-consent — remembers your choice from the cookie banner ("granted" or "denied"). Without it, we would ask you on every visit.
- language — your RO or EN preference.
Analytics (only with explicit consent)
These cookies are set by Google Analytics 4 ONLY after you click "Accept analytics" in our banner:
- _ga — pseudonymous user identifier. Expires in 2 years.
- _ga_<ID> — pseudonymous GA4 session identifier. Expires in 2 years.
- _gid — pseudonymous daily identifier. Expires in 24 hours.
Data collected is anonymized (masked IP) and used only for aggregate traffic measurement.
Performance (no consent, no cookies)
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure page performance (Core Web Vitals) and visit counts. They DO NOT use cookies and DO NOT identify you individually, making them compatible with a strict reading of GDPR. See Vercel documentation.
How to manage cookies
- From the site banner — appears on first visit. "Only essential" declines analytics, "Accept analytics" allows them. To change your choice later, clear the site data from your browser settings (the banner reappears).
- From your browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and others allow blocking all cookies and deleting existing ones. Note: if you block everything, the language preference will be lost between visits.
Third-party cookies
- Google Analytics (only with consent) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Vercel (aggregated analytics, no cookies) — vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
